Thermogravimetric analysis
Map columns
Specify data rows and units. Missing cells and formulas are not silently skipped.
Thermogram
Normalized to the first recorded mass.

Rule-based interpretationInterpretation limits
These checks do not verify instrument calibration or the physical validity of the experiment.

Numerical data
Showing the first 100 points. The download includes all points, original mass, the calculated derivative, the filter window and the source row range.
Filter sensitivity
Compare peak position and rate for raw data and 5-, 11- and 21-point windows. This spread is neither measurement uncertainty nor a confidence interval.
Series set and method settings 0 / 8 series
Comparison series
Up to 8 series. Source and data ranges are retained for each series. “Save project” stores raw inputs and method settings together.
Select series from the active source
Apparent activation energy from multiple heating rates
Select at least 3 distinct constant heating rates for the same material. Review each curve’s conversion bounds: α = [m(Tstart) − m(T)] / [m(Tstart) − m(Tend)]. If the bounds do not represent the relevant reaction start and end, results apply only to the selected window.
Source condition notes
Raw points are used; the DTG filter does not affect KAS calculations. The last row is not automatically treated as complete conversion. Enter missing heating rates from the experiment record (nominal by default; a measured β also needs its programmed rate); values conflicting with a recorded rate are rejected.
Experimental suitability review
These selections are researcher declarations. They do not verify missing conditions; known condition conflicts block calculation.
Conversion-dependent Eα
Error bars show ±1 regression standard error; they exclude temperature calibration, conversion-bound selection and KAS approximation errors.

Comparison thermogram
Each curve is normalized to its own first selected mass. Plot zoom does not change calculations or reference mass. Different DTG units are displayed separately.
Calculated properties
T₅ / T₁₀ / T₅₀: first downward crossings for 5% / 10% / 50% loss from the initial mass.
